My lovely friend and fellow photographer, Kelsey Bieler, invited me to the super bloom! She had gone just weeks prior before all the tourists started coming. By the time we got to make the trip, most of the poppies had died out or were trampled... It was sad to see but we rocked it by taking self-portraits! Here are some of mine.

On our way home, we also stopped and saw this AMAZING boulder location! We stopped for some more photos. 

And of course... there was a full rainbow around the sun! We had to stop for a 3rd time to document this with our rainbow babes.

Busy Family Weekend Celebration!

Happy Aniversary and Happy Birthday to Me!

Today, We will celebrate my birthday! A ripe 23 years old. 

This weekend we spent celebrating our 2 year anniversary on a DINNER CRUISE! He kept it a secret until we legt for the boat. It was super neat and our first time underway together <3

We also took the time to enjoy some family time; I stopped answering business emails and phone calls even. 

We had a moment to document a little lifestyle day of daddy and daughter; typical book reading experience. I hope you enjoy some of these portraits as much as I did create them for future memories <3

Blessed Beyond Measure 

A series of Self Portraits with our Rainbow Baby at 34 weeks.

I am blessed beyond measure. This is my loving husband. He deals with my love for photography and self-portraits with SUCH enthusiasm; loves to send me ideas, and never complains; actually encourages me!

Sometimes I have crazy ideas like ... Putting the camera on a tripod and tieing it to the headboard. 

Heres just a few of our many captures:

Of course, embracing our "Mr. Elaphant" was also a must. He's been my comfort for the many long deployments and underways Anthony gets sent on and is a reminder of our son we lost last year. 

 

Then, why not make coffee for each other!? Baristas at heart, I made him his standard pour over with the V-60, I made sure to use the scale, timer, and the right single origin coffee.  

He did the same, but used the espresso machine I got 'him' for Fathers Day this year ;) We won't judge his rusty latte art just yet; he was only home for a couple days. 

Can't forget to mention: These are the same "Hot Momma and "Big Daddy" coffee cups we used for our Sons Pregnancy announcement this time last year.
