| The Barnett Family | San Diego Holiday Mini Session 2019 |

I have been blessed to have photographed this beautiful family twice before! First, at Austin's navy homecoming, then a couples session at a local coffee shop.  Now, they are officially married and living in San Diego together. They have even added this beautiful pup to their family <3

I CAN NOT wait to see how many more times I get to photograph them while they are here.

Check out some of the photos from their mini session at The Family Christmas Tree Farm in El Cajon.

Post-Homecoming Couples Session

Post-Homecoming Couples Session - Barnett Family

I am SO grateful to have photographed this engaged couple not only for their homecoming but for a couples session after!

We started communication while he was on deployment and she was back home getting things ready for his arrival. Booking flights, hotels, and other adventures including where to go shopping for their wedding bands.

Anticipation for the Homecoming quickly came and went as soon as she had her sailor back in her arms.

This session took place a week after his homecoming to give them the opportunity to let the nerves settle.

I hope you enjoy just some of the photos from the day!

Marine Corps Airstation Miramar | VMFA 225 | Military Homecomings

Smith Family

Clara contacted me last year in search of a Homecoming photographer and I am SO glad she did! It was a beautiful day waiting for her husband to arrive. He was coming home with VMFA 225; VMFA stands for Fixed-Wing Marine Fighter Attack so you can imagine there all pretty important people.

One of my favorite things about their homecoming is the special bond between Clara and another soon to be Military Spouse! I got to watch their friendship and excitement together.

As I said on my Facebook page:

"I got to see the bond between friends made in the military.

These two women are at different stages of their life but united in supporting their loved ones.

Overall, I loved photographing my client's family, and seeing such raw emotion; but I equally loved watching these two friends interact through the anticipation of their Marines coming home.

Do yourself a favor, hire a photographer! "

If you are in San Diego and your loved one is about to leave, has already left, will be coming home soon BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHER! If not me, then someone, please! You will not regret it at all.

To inquire about any ships, fly-ins, or even at The San Diego International Airport, contact me!

I hope you enjoyed a couple of the 300+ images from the day!

I got to witness something very special this past Monday. I got to see the bond between friends made in the military....
