I recently photographed a homecoming for USS Essex of an engaged couple and I INSTANTLY fell in love with this image of them hugging and her crying. It is so special to me as a fellow Navy spouse to have this moment captured. 

I can not wait to be able to photograph my next homecoming soon!!!

Sometimes Jackie Jean does a 'Current Favorite' week where you can submit really anything. This past week I submitted Novalee and Dada's portrait from our Christmas trip to see family in San Luis Obispo.

WEEKLY TOP TEN - FREELENSING

I tried freelensing for the first time!!! I regularly participate in Jackie Jeans weekly challenges. This last week I was very surprised to see freelensing as the challenge. I had never done this before but have seen it done beautifully in the oast by others. 

Freelensing is where you detach your lens from your camera, hold it in front of your lens mount and shoot through it. It creates interesting out of focus areas.

Self Portrait- Husband, Wife, Rainbow Baby at 34 Weeks

We have been blessed to be featured on Jackie Jeans Blog for window lighting. 

This is actually a self-portrait of Anthony and I that I absolutely love. It perfectly shows the true tender love and joy as we embrace our Rainbow baby girl at 34 weeks just before he has to leave on another underway.
