I recently photographed a homecoming for USS Essex of an engaged couple and I INSTANTLY fell in love with this image of them hugging and her crying. It is so special to me as a fellow Navy spouse to have this moment captured. 

I can not wait to be able to photograph my next homecoming soon!!!

Coronado North Island | USS Essex LHD 2 | Military Homecoming

I was contacted back in January by this amazing woman looking for a photographer for her fiances' Homecoming. He is stationed on the USS Essex and had already been deployed for 7 months! I was very excited to take on the Barnett Family as clients. 

On March 1st, future Mrs. Barnett and I met up and waited for the ship to pull in. Shortly after docking, her man was able to call, and they saw each other from the ship. He came off shortly after. 

Be warned, she did cry and it was BEAUTIFUL! 

These two love birds are getting married later in the year!
