 Novalee Is Three Months Old!

I can't believe it! My baby girl is three months old. She has quite the way to show her expression and I absolutely love it. Here are some of the images from a little Christmas Photo mini we put together. String lights, white blanket, Christmas Book from Costco, and a low aperture lens can do wonders.

2018 Birth Session Giveaway Winner!

Family 'H' won my birth session giveaway I was hosting on my Business page over on Facebook. We kept in touch until surprise baby wanted to enter the world. 

On Sunday Night we knew it was going to be a quick labor, being moms 3rd beautiful baby. 

What we did not know was babes gender! 

I got a text late that night and was ready to make the hour drive. Once there, I waited in the car for a few min to get that text until mom was completely ready for company. I waited a little longer in the lobby and shortly after doctors were ready to go and baby wanted to enter the world. 

Sadly, This hospital will only allow photographs of babe and mom AFTER babe is on moms chest screaming which sometimes is a bummer when mom may want crowning images.

But boy, does this GIRL have lungs!

Dad said he knew by the full head of dark hair as baby "H" was crowning that she just had to be a girl; he was right.

I'll Never Stop Loving You

Blessed Beyond Measure 

A series of Self Portraits with our Rainbow Baby at 34 weeks.

I am blessed beyond measure. This is my loving husband. He deals with my love for photography and self-portraits with SUCH enthusiasm; loves to send me ideas, and never complains; actually encourages me!

Sometimes I have crazy ideas like ... Putting the camera on a tripod and tieing it to the headboard. 

Heres just a few of our many captures:

Of course, embracing our "Mr. Elaphant" was also a must. He's been my comfort for the many long deployments and underways Anthony gets sent on and is a reminder of our son we lost last year. 

 

Then, why not make coffee for each other!? Baristas at heart, I made him his standard pour over with the V-60, I made sure to use the scale, timer, and the right single origin coffee.  

He did the same, but used the espresso machine I got 'him' for Fathers Day this year ;) We won't judge his rusty latte art just yet; he was only home for a couple days. 

Can't forget to mention: These are the same "Hot Momma and "Big Daddy" coffee cups we used for our Sons Pregnancy announcement this time last year.

National Rainbow Baby Day - August 22

Rainbow Baby Day is TODAY! 

In honor of today; I wanted to share images recently taken by my dear friends and colleagues. 

As you may already know or are soon to know, last year my family suffered a loss of our son, Giovanni, and are currently expecting our Rainbow. Pictured below at 35 weeks gestation. 

I am blessed that here in San Diego I am apart of MULTIPLE photography groups where Community Over Competition is very important. I was blessed to team up with an amazing woman, Monique Hoppe, who has various gowns and we put on a free shootout for our Photography Community. 

The gowns provided are from Chicaboo and Ana Brandt.

The first gown skirt is called The Promise Gown by Chicaboo. The under dress is also by Chicaboo and called Sienna in Lavender.

The second gown shown is by Ana Brandt - The Lindsy Rainbow Dress.
